Popped over to this pub to check out the free motohome overnight parking (plus free ehu) The service and attention... were brilliant. There were 3 of us and we all had the pensioners meal deal for £7.99 (6.99 for 2 courses) We had Garlic mushrooms and soup for starters then 2 fish and chips and one all day breakfast. For dessert it was 2 apple pie and custard and 1 ice cream. We has coffee to finish which was lovely. All the food was hot and tasty and portion sizes just right when you indulge in all 3 courses or even just the 2. Not the poshest pub I've visited but a warm welcome by good honest hard working staff who could not have been more friendly. Toilets were nice and clean too! Just one last thing to add, If you work are a carer or in the forces you get a free drink. As a carer I got a lovely hot coffee. A great family pup as well with lots do keep the children amused. A nice homely seating area outside behind the pub even has armchairs to sit on. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend calling in if you want a bit and a drink.read more

Extremely friendly pub. Came for food and drink - got two chicken and bacon salads which were amazing, way better that... it looked in the photos! Accidentally knocked pepsi into my freshly bought salad and was replaced free of charge! Will definitely be coming back xread more

There was a good selection, the food was great quality, hot, and cooked to perfection. The portions are plenty big... enough and if you can manage the ex large then well done you! Prices are very reasonable and portion size does not change even on 2 for £10 menu.I'm not a beer drinker but I'm told it was a good pint. The staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints at all, we will definitely be returning. You may need to book in advance.read more

We eat often at ours because the food is great value for money and tastes good. There is varied choices on the menu,... it's always served quickly and is hot and very well presented. I would highly recommend ours for any day of the week!read more

Everything from entry to leaving was outstanding service. Friendly welcome greeting, fast ordering and service of both... drinks and food. Food is delicious and amazing value. Try it you won't be disappointed.read more
